Flex Application Developer (Contract)

Small, fast-paced Chicago company is looking for a talented web application developer with experience in Adobe Flex/Actionscipt3.0 to join the team for a two month contract or paid internship with the potential for continued employment.  
 
The right candidate will join an existing development team to work as the primary front end developer for a rich internet application.  The application will be a module based Adobe Flex RIA that communicates with a server-side java application through Flex's RemoteObject architecture.
 
Qualified candidates will have experience with:
  • Adobe Flex/ActionScript3.0
  • MVC (we are using the Cairngorm MVC framework to manage client side application logic)
  • CSS
  • Eclipse/Subclipse
  • Web application servers (JBosss)
 
Additional desired qualities:
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Graphical design skills & experience
  • Experience with Subversion source control
  • Knowledge of server-side applications (J2EE)
 
Compensation:

Timing:
We are looking to bring someone on board as soon as possible
 
Schedule:
Flexible. 30-40 hours per week.  Minimum 30
 
Location:
Negotiable.  We expect to require 1-2 days per week in our Niles office with all additional time flexible
