Chicago Flex and AUG Chicago, the Chicago Area Adobe Users Group, have teamed up to deliver two very special events featuring previews of some of Adobe's most anticipated software releases for the Flash Platform.
Thursday June 18th, Adobe Platform Evangelist Kevin Hoyt will be conducting two separate presentations on the upcoming release of Flex 4. In the afternoon we will host a presentation geared to designers and in the evening we will have a presentation that will appeal more to developers. To accommodate as many people as we can, we ask you to choose the one event that best suits you. Both events are free, but registration is required.

Adobe® Flash® Catalyst is a new professional interaction design tool for rapidly creating application interfaces and interactive content without coding. Flash Catalyst enables designers to start from static compositions created in Adobe Photoshop® CS4, Illustrator® CS4, or Adobe Fireworks® CS4 and convert the artwork into applications and interactive content. Flash Catalyst can output a finished Flash SWF or AIR application that’s ready to publish on the web.
Flash Catalyst is already being considered a crucial tool in the future of the Adobe development workflow for creating interactive Ads, product guides and design portfolios to user interfaces for applications. In addition designers can provide the project file to developers who can use Adobe Flex® Builder™ to add additional functionality such as connection to back-end systems.
