Chicago Flex

The Roundarch team will discuss some of the technologies used to build StrataLogica, which is a first-of-its-kind web-based educational product that delivers traditional wall map and globe content in both a 3D environment using Google Earth and a 2D environment using a blend of the Adobe FlexSDK, Flash CS4, Flex Builder, and FDT.

Our talk will focus on our use of the Google API to enable interactive tools in the 3D environment, FlexSDK and OpenZoom SDK to create an interactive 2D map environment and flex to create supporting administrative features.
